Cop Stops to Help Disabled Car, 3 Arrested Cause It’s Stolen
Friday morning, Kennewick police were able to return a stolen vehicle to it's owner after apparently it broke down or stalled in the middle of the road.
Police got calls from people in the area of East 3rd. and North Date Street, this red Volkswagen was blocking in the middle. Upon arrival police learned the car had just been stolen, it had been left outside unoccupied to warm up.
3 men were trying to push the car, one of them, 34-year-old Sean Delvaux, is now in the county jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle. It's believed the other two were taken into custody as well.
Guess if you're going to steal a car, hope it doesn't break down in the MIDDLE of the road. Hi, officer!
