Couple Busted For Filling Baby Stroller With Unpaid Goods At Mall

A Kennewick man and woman are in the Benton County jail after they attempted to stuff an empty baby stroller with hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise Wednesday evening.

Kennewick police were called to JC Penney at the mall where 35-year-old Angel Cuevas and 27-year-old Miriam Martinez were arrested. Due to the amount of the alleged theft, they are facing 2nd Degree Retail Theft with Special Circumstances.

From the pile of goods seen in the picture, they couldn't possibly think nobody would notice them leaving? Guess they did. Whoops!
