Couple Fights, Gun Fired, But Suspects Flee Before Cops Arrive

The search continues for a couple who reportedly were arguing then a gun fired in early Sunday morning.

 WHAT DID POLICE FIND AT SCENE?

Officers were called to an area near the intersection of Kennewick Ave. and Newport Street after multiple calls came in from residents about a couple in the street arguing.

People also said they heard at least one gunshot being fired.  Police arrived a short time later, but by then the man and woman had both left in the same vehicle.

Based upon witness comments no one was hurt in the incident.

Police collected evidence at the scene but what that evidence that was is not known. Police were able to identify the two suspects but attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful. Police say this appears to be a part of a domestic issue.

The investigation continues.
