Next time, make sure it's secured properly.

Franklin County Deputies responded to this scary looking crash on Highway 395, northbound just past Mesa on Sunday.

It seems the two people in this car were also letting their kitten ride shotgun. The cat was wandering around in the vehicle, and the driver became distracted by the feline. Without noticing, the car began to drift off the shoulder of the road, then the driver lost control. The car rolled three times before finally coming to a rest.

Amazingly, neither person was hurt, nor was the cat! So, some good news there. But this stands as bizarre reminder about the dangers of distracted driving.

IF they had their coverage, pretty sure this will wind up as one of those Farmer's Insurance "We've Seen a Thing or Two" ads...

No word if the cat was just roaming, or being cantankerous.
