Debit Card, ID Theft Thieves Identified–Search Is On

Perhaps cynical folks don't think they can make a difference?

Benton County Deputies say a number of tips they received after releasing this information and photo about ID theft and debit card fraud has led to a positive ID of these two suspects.

They didn't say when the theft occurred, but recently a victim's purse was stolen from the Desert Food Mart in Benton City.

Then a short time later, the man and woman pictured used the stolen debit card twice at the Maverik store off of Keene Road. The couple were believed to be driving a black or dark colored Chevy Avalanche.

Now, Deputies say the two have been positively identified, and the case "is moving forward,"  in other words, not long before their view is from the Rebar Motel.
