Three young men ages 17-23 sustained non-life threatening wounds after an altercation that broke out in Kennewick Wednesday evening.

Kennewick police were called to 1105 West 10th Ave. (The Hawaiian Village Apartments) around 9:30 about a report of 8-10 males, one carrying a baseball bat, chasing another through the complex.

After arriving, police found a 17- and 19-year old who had suffered minor stab wounds and lacerations. They also came upon a 23-year-old man who sustained similar injuries, but none were life-threatening.

Police said the chase and stabbing incidents were related, and the result of a fight over a financial debt. Apparently the situation escalated, resulting in the "brawl."

The three injured men were taken to TRIOS Southridge ER for treatment and released. As of now none of the people involved are in custody, but the investigation continues.
