After a preliminary investigation, Police went to the Thayer location and developed the necessary probable cause to search for 23-year-old Lauren Brooke Rice as the shooter. She is facing a 1st Degree Assault charge.

The alleged shooter fled the scene before police arrived.

Rice is believed to have driven away in a silver or grey Mitsubishi SUV.  Richland Police say she should be considered armed and dangerous, so do not attempt to contact her if you see her, instead call 9-1-1 or (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.

Police have not released any information as to what led up to the incident.
