After responding to reports of gunfire in Pasco, two suspects are now in the Franklin County Jail after shooting into an empty Pasco apartment unit.

Shortly after 10:15pm Tuesday night, police were called to the area of Pearl St. and 5th Avenue, on reports of shots being fired.

Upon arrival witnesses told police two suspects fired at what turned out to be an unoccupied apartment unit, then fled the scene.

Police later located 27-year-old Phadera Victoria A. Grigsby  and 29-year-old Evans L. Madison Jr, both of Kennewick and they were taken into custody.  Pasco and Kennewick police as well as the Tri-City Regional SWAT Team arrested them around 7am Wednesday.  Madison Jr. is suspected to be the shooter, Grigsby the driver.

Authorities didn't say why they allegedly shot at the apartment, or who the intended victims were. The investigation continues.
