Early Sunday evening, Benton County Sheriff's responded to a report of a crash involving a large pickup near Old Inland Empire Highway and Griffin Road.

The driver, identified as Kimberly Rodriguez, had apparently caught her front tires in the large ditch lip seen in picture, then bounced and slammed into the nearby fence. Upon arrival, Deputies saw her trying to back up her truck and leave, not realizing she had destroyed the front suspension.

Fortunately she was not injured nor was her 1 1/2 year old infant in the truck with her. But Deputies did say she failed a field sobriety test, and was found to be intoxicated behind the wheel. Officers administered the test on suspicion she'd been drinking.

She's in jail, but luckily the baby not hurt. The truck repair bill will be substantial as well.
