Dust Devils (Again!) Break Season Attendance Record
Not only are they in the NW "A" League Playoffs, but thanks to the fans, the Tri-City Dust Devils have broken (yet again!) the season attendance record. The San Diego Padres, their parent club, are probably smiling very big right now.
With 2,682 fans packing the seats on Labor Day, the team broke the franchise season attendance record with a total of 87,021 fans seeing them play in 2019.
Now the Dust Devils will take on Spokane (first half champs) starting Wednesday for the Northern Division title, in a best of 3 series. Game one 6:30 in Spokane, Game 2 Thursday 7:15pm at GESA Stadium Pasco, and if necessary, Game 3 Friday will also be at GESA at 7:15pm.
The winner of that series will immediately begin play Saturday Sept. 7 vs the winner of the Hillsboro--Salem-Keizer Southern Division series, for the Northwest "A" League title.
That's a best of five and will run Saturday through next Wednesday if necessary. (if all 5 games are needed).
