UPDATE -Fatal Crash Closes Richland Street Early Tuesday Morning
UPDATE BELOW STORY----The roadway is now clear, but fatal crash blocked off a road in Richland
Tuesday morning fatal crash closes part of McMurray St.
Richland Police were called to the 700 block of McMurray St. in Richland early Tuesday morning, for a report of a single-car crash.
Upon arrival they found the car, and report the driver was killed. They did not say if they were dead at the scene or were transported.
The crash closed the road between Stevens and Jadwin for several hours. We don't know what factors led up to the crash, more information is expected soon from Richland Police.
UPDATE----
Police say the victim is 46-year-old Shawn Harmon of Richland, who was not wearing a seatbelt. RPD says speed appears to have been a factor, no other specifics released as investigation continues.
