In a story that just hit nationally at Fox News and other outlets, the FBI has joined in the search for a missing 2 year old Bellevue WA boy, who disappeared from his mother's car after she had left him buckled in his car seat after her car ran out of gas.

2 year old Sky Metalawa was left buckled in his mother's Acura after she ran out of gas in Bellevue.  She took his four year old sister and walked to a nearby Chevron station, nearly a mile away, but left the toddler buckled in the car.  When she returned about an hour later with fuel, the boy was gone.  She has told the FBI and authorities the car was apparently not locked...at least one door was left unlocked.  Police said there were no signs for forced entry.    A check of records showed the boy's mother and father had been cited in 2009 for leaving one of their children unattended in their car.  It was for a shorter period of time, but a passerby noticed the child and called police.  The parents had been required to complete a parenting course.  Police are not saying if this has anything to do with the missing boy, but they are leaving all options open.
