Final Public Meeting Tuesday for Finley Schools Bond Issue
Finley School District officials will be holding their final public informational meeting about the proposed bond coming before voters on February 14th in a special election.
For the first time since 1999, voters will be asked to approve a bond that will provide $10 million dollars for a variety of projects, including:
- Renovation of the career and technical facilities (CAT) buildings and greenhouses
- Upgrade athletic facilities, including weight room, football field grandstands, locker room, and making the grandstands compliant with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards.
- Install new security systems including cameras and a new key system in all school facilities.
- New carpet in the elementary school, a new roof for the middle school and other projects.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 at the Finley Grange at 223005 E. Main Street Tuesday January 16th.
