At least three renters will be displaced for a while after an early Friday morning fire was battled at the Stonegate Apartments in West Pasco.

Fire crews from Pasco, Richland and Kennewick arrived around 1:21AM to battle the blaze. No one was hurt, but one person had to be taken to the hospital due to cold exposure. This person already had some medical conditions that made the exposure worse.

Pasco Fire officials say nine units had to be evacuated for the night, at least three are considered damaged to the point where they cannot be occupied for a while. No word yet on the cause of the fire, the investigation continues at the units off Road 68.
