Firefighters ‘Shortcut’ to Fire Behind Garage Door in Pasco [VIDEO]

Friday afternon around 2:30, Pasco police and fire crews responded to a residential blaze in the 3900 block of Havstad street, which runs along the river just off of Road 39.

No injuries reported, it appears no one might have been home at the time. The fire was quickly brought under control, but this video shows how crews deal with accessing a blaze behind a barrier, such as garage door, when they can't open it; or it might not be safe to just crank it open. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but no foul play suspected.
