Fugutive Hit And Run Driver Causes, Receives Heavy Damage
Most of the time, hit-and-run crashes don't cause extensive damage. We have seen a few where the driver fled and left behind their vehicle.
But most are garden variety. But not this one.
Kennewick Police are seeking to find the driver and locate this blue Chevy, stemming from a significant hit-and-run June 24.
The crash occurred at Columbia Drive and Entiat Streets. The suspect car is a dark blue 2013-15 Chevy Malibu, it was reportedly last seen in Pasco near Road 68 and I-182.
It should be easy to spot, as the rear bumper is missing, and there is heavy damage to the driver's side rear quarter panel (left rear body).
Anyone who may know who this is or has information about this vehicle, you're urged to call (509)-628-0333. Police say locating the driver would help the victim obtain restitution.
No doubt Police also checking local body shops, not something most people are going to be able to fix on their own.
The investigation continues. No word if any injuries in the crash.
