Garbage Piling Up? Labor Day Pickup Schedule Information for Tri-Cities, Yakima

If you're wondering about Monday garbage pickup, and if the dumps or transfer stations will be open, read on!

A variety of different schedules will be observed for the Labor Day Holiday.

Basin Disposal and Ed's Disposal in Tri-Cities and Walla Walla WILL pickup garbage on Monday, Labor Day, but make sure cans are out early to ensure service.

BDI in Yakima will NOT be pickup on Labor Day Monday.   It will be picked up Tuesday.

The BDI transfer station in Pasco WILL be open 7:30am-2pm Monday in Pasco, all other BDI offices will be closed.

A call to Waste Management in Kennewick indicated there WILL be regular curbside pickup Monday,  HOWEVER,  the transfer station at 27th and Ely will be closed BOTH Saturday and Monday.   So if you planned to spend your Saturday cleaning up the yard and hauling it off to the dump,  you will have to wait until the following Tuesday.

We suggest you spend the Labor Day weekend having fun with the family instead of slaving way in the yard...just sayin!
