Thursday, the PAC-12 announced starting beginning of November, a limited 7-game conference only schedule would return, so WSU and UW fans will get some football.

Not clear yet if fans will be allowed in stands, but we did notice this Facebook post from Governor Inslee Thursday evening.

It reads as follows, in part:

"I'm glad to see PAC-12 Conference Sports area back. My office worked with OR, CA and our universities to improve the safety measures and help keep student athletes heatlhy."

Never one to miss an opportunity to toot his own horn,  we might remind him that the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference (Whitworth, PLU, UPS, George Fox, Willamette, Lewis and Clark, Pacific and Linfield) pulled the plug earlier this fall, largely in part to the lockdowns and restrictive measures pushed by Inslee and Oregon Gov. Kate Brown.  All the schools are located in WA and OR, and will shoot for later winter-early spring football.

It is interesting to note that today (Friday 9-25) however, on both his Gov. Jay Inslee, and Jay Inslee pages, this post is nowhere to be found nor on his Twitter account.
