Grandview Police Investigating Attempted Luring Incident

The investigation continues, and the search is on for the suspect in an attempted luring incident Thursday morning in Grandview.

Police said Friday a Grandview Middle School student was on her way to school when a man driving a black four-door dirty sedan, possibly a 90's Honda Accord, drove by slowly. The girl noticed the passenger side headlight was falling out.

The driver was described as thin, pale-looking white person, or possibly very light skinned Hispanic. He had a tattoo on his face, no facial hair and wearing a black baseball cap.

He drove by again, and pulled over and asked the girl if she needed a ride. Police said the girl backed away, avoided contact and left. She then reported all the details to police.
