Last Friday (Sept 13), Adams County Deputies discovered and detained four teens who were caught trying to scale the fence, and 'crash' the Adams County Fair in Othello.

Fair officials saw the boys climbing over and alerted Deputies, who stopped and questioned the teens after the 7:30pm incident. One of them, a 15-year-old juvenile, was found to be carrying a loaded .380 semi-auto pistol. He was taken to Martin Juvenile Hall in Adams County. The other youth were released.

However, over the weekend the subsequent investigation led to a search of his home (the juvenile) where Deputies found another weapon that had been reported stolen in a recent burglary. He is now facing additional illegal weapons and burglary charges.

Fortunately, no other incidents or injuries reported from the weapon incidents. Officials have not said if they know what the teen planned to do with the weapons.
