Guns Among Items Stolen in Kennewick Car Prowls

Police are now saying a Glock pistol was among the items taken in a number of car prowls over the weekend.

Burglars hit a number of cars and vehicles in the Park Hills Neighborhood, which is near 19th and Garfield.

Besides a number of items being taken from what were said to be UNLOCKED vehicles, one of them was a Glock. Police say there's been an alarming amount of guns stolen from vehicle this year.

Please don't store ANYTHING of value in your vehicle, especially not a gun!

We're hoping these weapons don't turn up in the coming weeks or months in crimes.
