Help These Softballers Get to’ World Series’ in CA This Summer
Need that vehicle washed? Want it done well by strong-armed washers?
Help the Mizuno Maniacs 14-U Garcia softball team to the biggest tournament of the year.
Like other sports teams in our region, softball is strong. These girls qualified for the Alliance 14-U tournament in Irvine, CA at the end of July. The Alliance is a fast-growing organization that is uniting teams from Maine to CA, from Florida to WA...kind of like how Little League, Babe Ruth, and Cal Ripken do for baseball.
The Alliance event is similar to the baseball 'world series' events seen on TV...except bigger.
The Maniacs qualified for this event by placing high in a tournament in Kent, WA not long ago. Now they're headed to CA. The Alliance divides the country into regions, the Maniacs are in the Northwest Fastpitch League or NWFL. There are teams from Delaware, Massachusetts, Texas, Oregon, CA, Nevada, WA, Idaho, Missouri, and just about every state in the union.
This Maniacs team has girls from Richland, Kennewick, Hermiston, and Connell.
