Hermiston Woman Facing Manslaughter For Fatal Oregon Crash

The accident occurred in March,  and following an lengthy investigation,  a number of charges have now been filed.

31-year-old Alicia G. Breckheimer, was arrested Monday morning at her Hermiston-area residence by Oregon State Patrol troopers on the following charges:

* Manslaughter in the First Degree
* Manslaughter in the Second Degree
* Recklessly Endangering Another Person (3 counts)
* DUII
* Reckless Driving

The charges stem from a fatal accident on March 7th, 2014, when Breckheimer was driving her Cadillac Westbound in the Eastbound lanes of I-82 near Hermiston.   Just before 1:30am, she collided head-on with a car driven by 66-year-old Robert Henry Baker of Ione, OR.    Baker was pronounced dead at the scene.

Breckheimer was taken to Good Shepard Medical Center, then to Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, where she was treated and released.

No word was given by the Umatilla County Prosecuting Attorney about pending court dates.
