Boy, oh boy! The Seattle Mariners are beaming with pride over the announcement as Major League Baseball's Best Recyclers.

Uh, make that MLB's top award for sustainability.

Safeco Field had a recycling rate of 96% to claim the prize. They beat out the San Francisco Giants, who had received the award every year since it was introduced by MLB in 2008.

Seattle and the Washington Nationals are the only squads to never even make it to the World Series.
