Homeowner With Gun Stops Car Prowler in His Tracks
Gun trumps Taser every time.
Kennewick police say a 23-year-old man is in the Benton County jail after a homeowner confronted him inside the man's car he had broken into. Michael Magula had allegedly busted into the man's car in the 3200 block of West 46th and was pilfering through items when the homeowner pointed a gun at him and held him til police arrived.
Magula was not only found with items he stole from the car, but he had drugs on him as well. He was armed with a knife and a Taser, but wisely decided he would not challenge a bullet to his head.
After police investigated the backpack he was carrying they found other high-dollar items believed to be stolen from other car prowls. He's being held on a 72-hour investigation into the property and drugs.
