Many folks boil and dangle Easter Eggs, we do it with mouth guards for football. For the past 8 years, it's been an annual 'event' in our home. Mouth guards are used in a lot of sports, from football to soccer and even baseball.

It began 8 years ago with our son Dhylan, who is now preparing for his senior season at Kamiakin High School. The 6' 2" 220 lb Offensive-Defensive tackle started in Kennewick Grid Kids, and for the last 3, his little sister Harley has been doing it too for the same Grid Kid Colts organization. It is kind of an art,  leave it in the water too long and it becomes like a noodle.  Too little time, and it won't mold no matter how hard you bite.

It's not really THAT complicated, but it does take care and caution to make sure you boil the mouth piece long enough to get it soft, and shake off enough of the water when you place it in your mouth to mold it. Harley, Dhylan (Mr. Camera Shy) and I did it the other night. So, for anyone just starting out, here's our three videos showing how to get it done, and not blast yourself with boiling water in the process.
