Large cougar statue stolen from Columbia Park recovered.

Benton County Sheriff's Deputies reported late Wednesday that the large statue of a cougar originally located in the north end of Richland's Howard Amon park has been recovered.

The bronze cougar was reported missing June 10th, it was located in a scenic area at the north end of the area. Richland's Parks and Recreation Department reported the theft.

   Deputies not saying much

The only news we got was the large heavy statue was recovered elsewhere in the park, and has been returned to the City of Richland. Presumably, it will be returned to its spot.
