Judge Says Sheriff Recall Petition Can Move Forward

JUDGE OK's BCSO Sheriff Recall Petition--Thursday-
Walla Walla Superior Court Judge Scott Wolfram ruled a petition to recall Sheriff Jerry Hatcher can move forward. He ruled in favor of the 8 claims made in petition, now it has to gather at least 14,000 signatures. 14K equals about 25% of the votes he received during last election. Hatcher has 15 days to appeal decision.
If enough signatures are gathered, there will be a special election to let voters decide fate of recall.

It is expected supporters will soon be spotted around the region with petitions.
