Walla Walla County Deputies won't be slicing up the waterways of the county for fun, presumably it will be to help with their water-related cases and investigations.

  County looking for 2 plus a trailer

Chief Deputy Richard Schram released the following information:

"The Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office is seeking competitive bids from dealerships to purchase two personal watercraft and a trailer. To review the bid package and submit a bid please go to the Walla Walla County web site: www.co.walla-walla.wa.us then “Quick Links” and select “County Bid/RFP/RFQ” to find this project."

According to the information release, bids must be submitted no later than June 25th.

The information release also said:

"All bids must be delivered to the Commissioner’s Office located at 314 West Main Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362, located on the second floor of the building. Bids may also be submitted, prior to the deadline, via fax at 509-524-2512 or by email at bids@co.walla-walla.wa.us"
