The investigation began after the girl reportedly told a school counselor and informed her parents. The girl's father brought the information to the school district.
McDonald remains out of jail on $10,000 bond. She's been instructed not to have any contact with the student. McDonald, who graduated from Kiona-Benton High School, won her fourth consecutive state title in 2011.
