This worker alerted a couple of neighbors, who confronted the suspect as she was in her car getting ready to leave.

The homeowner was not there at the time, her neighbors notified her this incident occurred. Apparently, the woman had used tools to remove the lock and hinges from a gate, and then also did the same to the homeowner's shed door.

She did get away with a gas yard trimmer, a toolbox, vacuum cleaner, other small tools, a hedge trimmer (powered clippers) and other items likely worth at least several hundred dollars.

However prior to her leaving the neighbor confronted her, and got video of her, the car, and plates etc. It's distinctive because the car has no hood, and a very loud exhaust, and what appears to be a possibly broken sunroof.

The vehicle is a gold two-door sedan with WA Plates BFK 1125.

A report has been filed with KPD, let's help them find this brazen thief. And kudos to the alert PUD worker, and her neighbors. She did get away with stuff in her car, the neighbor couldn't forcibly restrain her, but there's plenty of evidence to ID this distinctive car and driver.
