
Kennewick Cyberstalker Arrested, Cops Say Could Be More Victims
Kennewick Police are asking for public input about a cyberstalker who was arrested on Tuesday, February 11th, saying there may be additional victims.
Police were alerted to an early-morning disturbance
Around 7:48 AM Tuesday, KPD answered a call from a person who said they had received videos of themselves and their child, as well as unwanted explicit videos, which came from several different numbers.
Kennewick Police and the Regional Metro Drug Task Force began to investigate, and after some surveillanc,e they were able to identify the suspect as 23-year-old Alexis Castro-Tapia.
Along with the CAT, or Criminal Apprehension Team, he was taken into custody. Police now say, based on evidence from the case, they believe there could be additional victims in the area.
