Kennewick Fuel Thieves Caught – Search for Accomplices Continues [PHOTOS]
Newstalk 870 told you recently about a number of suspects who used a stolen fuel card to make off with a huge amount of fuel.Kennewick police now say a search warrant was served at a home in Finley, and four people have been arrested. Paramount Supply Co. said the stolen card was used at fuel locations in Kennewick, Pasco and Franklin County to steal what is now said to be 785 gallons of fuel. Based upon recent gas prices, that's nearly $2,750 if bought retail. The theft was reported May 28 of this year.
Kennewick police said the investigation led to the search warrant at 223402 Private Road SE in Finley. Suspects were taken into custody, but police did not directly say if they were the ones who stole the fuel. One of the vehicles, the white van used in the thefts, has been identified, but the other vehicles and occupants are still unknown at this time. Arrested in Finley were:
