Kennewick Hit and Run Driver Plows Into Railroad Crossing
Kennewick Police are searching for a driver of a hit-and-run collision right at the railroad crossing of Edison and Metaline over the weekend.
The collision has KPD looking for a driver who fled the scene of the accident. In a Facebook posting from the Kennewick Police Department, here is what happened:
Officers are on the scene of a hit-and-run collision in the area of Edison and Metaline. The driver of the vehicle, who fled the scene and has not yet been located, collided with the BNSF crossing gates.
The crossing gates are not functional at this time. KPD is asking drivers to use extra caution if you're are traveling through the area.

No word on if the vehicle is stolen or not as KPD is still investigating the details about the accident. If you have any information, reach out to the Kennewick Police Department. You'll want to use caution if you are driving in the area of Edison and Metaline in Kennewick over the next few days.
