King County Attempted Murder Suspect Found On Kennewick Park Bench
Proof once again the programs like Crime Stoppers and other tip hotlines work, thanks to information called in by a citizen, a wanted attempted murder suspect is behind bars.
April 2, Kennewick Police and U.S. Marshals arrested a 42-year-old man who was wanted for attempted murder in King County. Daniel Varela 'Capone' fled the scene of a minor car crash in King County March 20th, after he alleged stabbed a victim and cut their throat. Fortunately they were rushed to Harborview Medical Center and has since rebounded from being in critical condition.
An anonymous tip told police Varela was sleeping on a park bench in Kennewick. U.S. Marshals and police swarmed to the area, and Varela was taken into custody. He's now charged with 1st Degree Assault as well as other charges.
