KSD Health, Sex Ed Curriculum Preview Happening Tuesday May 3
Parents--Kennewick School District is having a preview of it's upcoming health and sexual education curriculum, for parents and others to examine.
Public event will be 5:30-7PM at Admin building
The Kennewick School District invites parents and the public to preview it's upcoming materials Tuesday.
Information from the District read in part:
".. including comprehensive sexual health education materials for grades 6-12, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on May 3 at the KSD Administration Center located at 1000 W. 4th Ave. in Kennewick.
The meeting will also be livestreamed at www.ksd.org, and a recorded version will be made available online after the meeting. Those viewing online will not have the ability to ask questions in real time, however there will be an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions through an online form."
So note this on your calendar, if you cannot make it, at least check out the online offering. So many parents wish to be a part of their child's education, this is an opportunity to do so--especially with health and sexual education being hot-button topics in schools these days.
The KSD Administration Building is located at 1000 West 4th Ave. in Kennewick, just west of Lampson Stadium.
