Lots Of Dogs, Cats Ready to Join YOUR Family During Adoption Event [VIDEO]
Summer is approaching, and Friday the air staff at Townsquare Media (Newstalk870, 97Rock, 1027KORD, 98.3 The Key and HOT975) went to the Tri-City Animal Shelter on 18th just off A street in Pasco to meet a few.
It's worth a visit to see these little (and not so little!) guys and gals who need a home. I got to walk and converse with Gigi, a powerful boxer mix. She was a lot of fun, and led me where she wanted to go.
The Shelter, located just south of the intersection of 18th and A street, at 1312 South 18th, takes care of many animals, and they're ready to be adopted! Many people come down and volunteer to walk the dogs, it was a steady parade of walkers, animals and activity.
Contact the shelter by calling 545-3740, and see them on Facebook. We got our latest family member, Caesar the chihuahua from the Shelter last summer. Consider it for your family! We've got a video of myself walking Gigi, and of Peter the cat, who's a kitten being featured this month. He's a cutie!
And Peter the kitten.
