Kennewick Police were able to reunite a small dog with its family after first investigating a potential business break-in.

Tuesday night, around 10 PM, patrol officers began searching a business in the 900 block of West Columbia Drive.

They didn't find any evidence of a human intrusion, but perhaps the ruckus was caused by what they did find.

Who Was Inside the Security Fence?

Police found this small dog, named Oreo. Because he apparently had an ID tag, they were able to locate his family, and he was reunited with them.

No word as to how he got behind the fence, but Oreo is back home, and not facing any charges--except maybe being grounded for running off and getting himself stuck behind the fence.
