A man was detained by Police in Richland after he was captured on video holding a gun at a Black Lives Matter protest march Friday afternoon near John Dam Plaza.

The man, whose identity was not released, was said to be walking on the sidewalk yelling "all lives matter." Witnesses said he had a pistol strapped to his hip.

According to witnesses, they asked him to leave, but he refused and pulled the gun out of it's holster. However, in the brief video he does not raise it or point it at anyone. The video was censored for profanity when it was published by YakTriNews.com (KAPP KVEW TV) In the video, there is a lot of yelling, but much obscured due to the censoring to remove obscenities.

He was then ushered away from the area. The investigation continues.
