Kennewick police have not released any new information, but now say the fatal shooting on Friday was self-inflicted.

Around 11:39am Friday morning, Kennewick police were called to the Hole in The Wall shooting range on West Deschutes, on a report of a man who had been fatally shot.

According to Kennewick Police Sgt. Ken Lattin, it was determined the man died from a self-inflicted wound. There was no threat to the public and no other suspects or individuals are being sought or investigated. Initially, there was fear someone else may have pulled the trigger.

However, police are still investigating the incident, and the man's identity still has not been released pending notification of relatives.

HOWEVER, officials have not said if it was an accident or suicide.
