Man Found with Gunshot Wound to Head Fighting to Recover

Authorities continue to investigate how and why a Hermiston man was shot in the head.  His condition has not been updated, but he's at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Monday, police were called to the 500 block of Hartley Avenue around 1:20 am Monday morning, where they found 26-year-old Eric Compos-Navarrete, who'd been shot in the head.

He was taken to Kadlec after initial treatment in Hermiston. Authorities have not released any other details.
