    Drive-By Shooter Apprehended near Moses Lake

Grant County Deputies were able to locate a drive-by shooting suspect, who allegedly fired shots at a residence in an area just west of the Moses Lake City limits.

Around 9:10 Tuesday night, calls came in about gunfire in the 7900 block of Stanley Road NE.  No reports of any impacts or injuries, but a witness gave a description of the vehicle to authorities.

    A Short Time Later, the Suspect Located

A Blue Ford Exporer was pinpointed as the vehicle used in the shooting, and Deputies located it in the 3200 block of Arrow Street.

27-year-old Austin Bennett of Moses Lake was arrested as part of the investigation. Detectives found a .223 rifle in the Explorer, an ammunition clip, and a .223 round was found in Bennett's pocket.  He's now facing multiple charges in the Grant County Jail, the investigation continues.

The Expedition had been seized as evidence.
