No Driveline? No Problem–Thief Steals Truck Using 4WD
Pasco Police are searching for a pickup that's the same make, model and color as this one.
A 2004 Nissan Frontier 4WD truck parked at an auto repair shop in Pasco was stolen over the weekend. Police say the thief(s) took it from a shop in the 1600 block of West A street.
The rear driveline was disconnected, but that didn't keep the suspect from taking it. They were able to drive off, using the 4WD transfer case--front wheel drive. Police say the transfer case was leaking fluid, the trail went north on 15th Ave. then east onto Lewis before it dribbled out to nothing.
The whereabouts of the truck are not known. Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.
Again, the truck stolen is a carbon copy of the one pictured.
