No the City of Pasco DID NOT put in a new decorate fountain, this was a blown water line.

Sunday afternoon ,officers responded to an area near the intersection of Burden Boulevard and Madison Street, the cover of a valve junction on a major water line failed, sending this pretty plume into the air.

The road was blocked off, and after a number of hours it was fixed. The one good thing? Because it was an irrigation line, there was no water loss to surrounding homes, but a lot of folks probably have dry lawns today.

Despite a LOT of water on the roadway, no accidents reported.
