Oregon National Guard Military Police Unit Mobilizes For Afghanistan

The Oregon Army National Guard's 1186th Military Police Company is scheduled to be honored in a mobilization ceremony in Salem, Thursday May 25, at 1:00p.m.

Approximately 30 soldiers from the Oregon Army National Guard will deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

Oregon National Guard military police learn active shooter response from civilian law enforcement instructors

Pre-deployment training for the unit will be at Fort Bliss, Texas.
