A 20-year-old Pasco man faces charges for flying a drone into the Space Needle.
Cole Kelley crashed his over 7 pound drone on the top roof on the Space Needle during New Years last year, according to news reports.
When the drone crashed, it was tangled in the fireworks display cables and was endangering a worker. The drone almost knocked off parts of the display to the ground.
Drones are not supposed to be flown higher then 400 feet, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Kelley now faces charges of reckless endangerment that could carry a sentence of up to 365 days in jail and up to a $5,000 fine.
