Pasco police are seeking this guy in connection with what could be a multi-location credit and debit card skimming operation.

Police are reporting that they're investigating one that's reportedly occurred at the Pasco Walmart, but may involve actual theft of numbers from a different location.

If you're not aware, skimmers are devices used to steal the account and pin numbers from a credit or debit card, and your personal ID attached to it. Most of the time, skimmers have been found attached to automated gas pumps. A removable device can be fitted over the card swiper, but usually they can be detected.

This man is wanted in connection with possible skimming. Police believe he's using a skimmer to steal information, then stamping and producing bogus credit and debit cards, then using them to buy Walmart gift cards. Police say he was seen at the self-checkout on June 15th at the Pasco store, and he reportedly did eight such transactions using several different cards. Several other transactions at the store have been linked to him as well. One of the cards was as much as $200.

He's driving a plain stock bench seat Chevy pickup with stock wheels. He's also believed to be deliberately dressing to look non-descript. He's believed to be in his late 20's or early 30's.  Police also say he could be from out of the area. Increasing numbers of skimmer suspects try to pull off this crime in another community than their own.

Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-545-3421. All leads are confidential. The case reference number is PP17-27476.
