The City of Pasco announced Monday the continuation of and start of some other COVID relief programs.

In the wake of Gov. Inslee slapping another 'lockdown' on the state, the following programs are in place in Pasco (some are continuing):

  • The Emergency Moratorium on Utility Shutoffs and Late Fees continues, HOWEVER customers are urged to call (509)-545-3448 to set up program if having difficulty paying.
  • City of Pasco CARES Utility Assistance Grant helps households satisfy payments, especially if behind. The program can provide anywhere from 1 to 6 months worth of payments. Call (509)-543-5712. Citizens have until NOV. 30 to apply.
  •  COVID-19 relief grants, up to $30,000 each are STILL available for business inside Pasco City Limits. For details, assistance and to apply call (509)-546-1304 for information from the Pasco Downtown Development Association.
  • City Emergency Order 2020-001 provides for a variance in the City’s sign code to allow restaurants more use of signs, including sandwich boards and banners, to advertise take-out or delivery services. Interested businesses can call Community Development for more information at (509) 545-3441.
