Pasco Suspects in “Ratty Mercedes” Steal Very Expensive Boat Sonars

Pasco Police say the suspects were driving a ratty Mercedes similar to the one pictured except it looks considerably worse.

Monday December 27th. Officers say two suspects, one a male and one female, made off with a high-end boat sonar (worth over $1,200) from Northwest Marine  and Sport near King City Truck Stop. That theft occurred around 12:35 PM.

Then on Tuesday Dec. 28th the same two were confronted by workers who said they fled before Police arrived. Tuesday they didn't get any merchandise.

This is part of an ongoing investigation into a series of such thefts, Police learned another unit had recently been taken from another boat.

Police  described the suspects and their vehicle:

"The suspects were described as a white male 35-40, brown hair, facial hair, glasses, and a white female 25-30, brown hair, tattoo or mark under the right eye."

The vehicle:

"The getaway car is described as similar to the photos but ratty-looking, a silver 1990's Mercedes with a terrible paint job, opaque plastic sheeting over the rear window opening, opaque plastic covering the rear license plate."
