The vehicular assault took place Sunday at about 4 am near the area of 20th Avenue and Court Street. As officers arrived to the scene in the 1800 block of North 24th Avenue, they found the injured man laying in the street and bleeding from the back of his head.

It was reported the driver fled the scene after smashing into three parked vehicles all belonging to one family. The injured man is the father of the family.

According to a report, the woman hit a parked PT Cruiser, shoving it into a pickup, and the pickup smashed into another car. The father went to the driver's door of the silver vehicle she was in to check on her.

The woman told the man she couldn't stay because she had a warrant, and proceeded to put her vehicle in reverse. The man was trapped between the car and the driver's door, and was knocked down.

The woman took off heading West on Opal Street. A short time later, Pasco Police found the suspect silver vehicle parked near 22nd and Jay. The vehicle had front-end damage and was leaking coolant. The vehicle was connected to a nearby apartment, where the woman was questioned by Police.

The 71-year old man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
